Description

The Return Fitting Reamer is used to ream‑out existing pool return fittings so RPEs (Return Pool Extensions) can seat correctly. During remodeling or repair, older fittings often have irregular edges, buildup, or deformation that prevents RPEs from inserting cleanly. This tool removes those obstructions and restores a uniform opening, ensuring proper fitment for TRU‑FIT and Invisible Fittings.

Why reaming is sometimes required

Return fittings often become obstructed due to:

• upchipped or deformed PVC
• epoxy patches
• uneven factory cuts
• liner shrinkage
• age‑related distortion

These defects stop an RPE from sliding in fully.
